Thank You Tech Family!
National Society of Black Engineers
Louisiana Tech University Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers

The National Society of Black Engineers is a professional organization whose mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. Every event that the chapter hosts on campus is geared around the three pillars within the mission statement. We provide study nights so that students can receive extra academic help from their peers. Our chapter also hosts resume workshops, mock interviews, and information sessions with engineering companies so that our members are properly prepared for the career fair here on Tech's campus as well career fairs at our Fall Regional Conference and National Convention. Lastly, our chapter is service oriented and provides multiple events that impact the campus of Louisiana Tech and the greater Ruston/Grambling area. Over the past two years, the Louisiana Tech Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers has been recognized by the College of Engineering and Science as one of the most active organizations on campus by winning the COES Cup. Your donations to the chapter will help us be able to send more students to our regional and national conventions, where students will be able to connect professional and socially with other minority engineers across the United States who face similar challenges on their respective campuses.
