What is Louisiana Tech Giving Day?

Louisiana Tech Giving Day is an annual University-wide fundraising event. Our goal is to inspire students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to rally together across one day with a show of support for Louisiana Tech. No matter the size of your gift, Giving Day is a tangible opportunity make good on that promise to ever loyal be, and unleash the potential of Louisiana Tech for the future. 

Why should I participate in Louisiana Tech Giving Day?

Private philanthropic support is critical to sustaining and enhancing the excellence that Louisiana Tech is known for. Your support develops learners and leaders, creates excellence in scholarship, research, and teaching, expands the reach and impact of Louisiana Tech through partnership and innovation, and cultivates an engaging environment across the campus community. Your gift of any size plays a significant role in bringing the vision for Louisiana Tech's future to life!

Do I have to make a gift online?

No. While making your gift online is secure and simple, there are a number of other ways to participate, including by phone, or by check made payable to Louisiana Tech University Foundation. Checks may be delivered in person to the Marbury Alumni Center, or by mail address to:

Is my gift tax-deductible?

The Louisiana Tech University Foundation (TAX ID 72-6021176) is recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS requires non-profit organizations to provide donors with a good faith estimate of the value of any benefits received as a result of their contribution, and the value of any related benefits received by the donor must be subtracted from the amount of the contribution. If a benefit is immediately known, it is listed. Benefits considered insubstantial by the IRS do not need to be considered when determining the tax deductibility of a contribution. Please consult your tax advisor with any specific questions or concerns.

When will my credit card be charged?

Immediately! Your card will be charged upon finalizing your gift.

What address should I use?

Be sure to enter the address that is associated with the credit card you're using; otherwise the transaction could decline.
