The College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) is truly a community of dynamic individuals dedicated to "transforming the human experience" of our current and future scholars, alumni, engaged professionals, and community partners. In 2025, CEHS will work intentionally to align our work with the Louisiana Tech's strategic framework: (1) maximizing the human potential (develop learners and leaders for academic, professional, and personal excellence); (2) advancing transformational knowledge (create excellence in scholarship, research, and teaching); (3) fostering innovation (expand the reach and impact of the institution through partnership, stewardship, and innovation); and (4) enhancing environments (cultivate an engaging environment through community, systems, and spaces)--all to realize the university's vision "to be the exemplar public institution in scholarship, teaching, and experiential learning. The University will champion leading-edge research that addresses enduring and emerging local and global challenges, engaging in innovative partnerships that foster economic growth and vitality."
In the spirit of giving in the 318 (area code) and on 3.18 (Day of Giving), we ask that you think through CEHS's contribution to transforming the human experience through behavior and cognitive analysis, early childhood development and family sciences, exercise and health promotion, fashion merchandising and retail studies, human resources and development, leadership, mental health and wellness, sports performance, teacher preparation as well as visual impairments/blind education and wellness.
Join us today by contributing to The College of Education and Human Sciences Excellence Fund. We know that in order for students to be most successful, they have to be connected to the academic, social, ecological aspects of the institution. In the spirit of transforming the lives of others, we ask that you give a variation of 318 (i.e., $3.18, $31.80, $318, $3,180…) per your interests. Thus, we want to use the funds for this 2025 Day of Giving will be used to (1) provide and enhance technology, (2) enhance students' experiences and support (e.g., hardship scholarships, travel for research, graduate education support, ), and (3) develop, maintain, and/or create communal and learning spaces.
The dean will match $3,180 for the first 318 donors.
Your contribution will help us prioritize initiatives that will help us achieve our work in CEHS.
